Terms of Service

Version of June 1, 2026 — applicable to every user of the platform.

1. Operator and purpose

The Platon Lab platform, available at platon-lab.com (the "Service"), is an online training platform dedicated to structured products. It is operated by Altitude Investment Services, Geneva, Switzerland (the "Operator"), as part of the Platon management tool.

These terms of service (the "Terms") govern access to and use of the Service. They form an agreement between the user and the Operator.

2. Acceptance of the Terms

Use of the Service constitutes acceptance of these Terms. Creating an account requires express acceptance, and the accepted version is recorded. If you do not accept the Terms, you must refrain from using the Service.

3. Description of the Service — free of charge

The Service provides training modules on structured products: educational content, interactive visualisations, quizzes and progress tracking. The Service is provided entirely free of charge. Some modules are freely accessible; others require the creation of an account.

4. User account

By creating an account, you agree to:

  • provide a valid email address and accurate information;
  • keep your credentials confidential — any activity carried out from your account is deemed to be carried out by you;
  • use only one personal account and not transfer it to a third party.

You may request the deletion of your account at any time (see the privacy policy).

5. Educational purpose — no investment advice

The Service pursues an exclusively educational purpose. The content, examples, simulations and visualisations — including where they feature realistic products, underlyings or market parameters — are provided for illustration and training purposes only.

Nothing in the Service constitutes investment advice, a personal recommendation, an offer, a solicitation to buy or sell financial instruments, or a financial service within the meaning of the Swiss Federal Act on Financial Services (FinSA). Use of the Service does not create any advisory relationship between the user and the Operator. Any investment decision is the sole responsibility of the user, who is encouraged to consult a qualified professional before investing.

6. Intellectual property

All elements of the Service — texts, module structure, interactive visualisations, charts, quizzes, logos, trademarks and code — are protected by intellectual property law and remain the exclusive property of the Operator or its licensors.

The Operator grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right of use, limited to training purposes. The following are prohibited without prior written authorisation: reproducing or distributing the content, exploiting it commercially, and systematically or automatically extracting data (scraping).

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • compromise the security, integrity or availability of the Service;
  • attempt to access data or accounts that do not belong to you;
  • use the Service for unlawful purposes or in breach of these Terms;
  • circumvent the access or quiz mechanisms.

8. Availability of the Service

The Operator endeavours to keep the Service continuously accessible but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Access may be suspended at any time, in particular for maintenance, updates or security reasons, without the Operator incurring any liability.

9. Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by Swiss law, the Operator excludes all liability for direct or indirect damage resulting from the use of, or inability to use, the Service, and in particular for any investment decision made on the basis of the educational content. Liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct remains reserved.

Despite the care taken in their preparation, the content may contain inaccuracies or may not reflect the most recent regulatory or market developments.

10. Data protection

The processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

11. Changes to the Service and the Terms

The Operator may change the Service (content, features, modules) at any time. These Terms may be amended; the version in force, identified by its date, is published on this page. In the event of a substantial change, account holders will be informed and may be asked to accept the new version. Continued use of the Service after a new version comes into force constitutes acceptance.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request the deletion of your account at any time. The Operator reserves the right to suspend or delete an account in the event of a breach of these Terms, with prior notice where circumstances allow.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Swiss law, to the exclusion of conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to the Service is subject to the competent courts of Geneva, Switzerland, subject to mandatory legal venues.
